He is a great show horse! |
"Ridge Runnin' Cody" is a 1988 BLM captured Bay stallion that is 15.2 and has been shown
in many different disciplines. Beginning with his first show as a 2 yr. old in which he won his second class.
He has gone on to place in almost every class he has ever been shown in. Everything from English, Eventing, Show
Jumping, Dressage, Endurance, Barrels, Flags, Poles, Trail Classes, Driving Classes and Costume Classes to working
cattle, poneying young horses or giving lessons. "Cody" has always been more than willing to do anything asked of him. His
foals have that same GET-R-DONE attitude, with a little extra for the show. To date "Cody" has over 45 foals on the ground,
ranging in size from 13 hands out of a Hackney pony to 16.1 hands out of a 15 hand Mustang mare. Check out some of his
foals in the photo gallery.
"Cody" is double registered in the American Mustang and Burro Assoc. And
in the American Warmblood Society, passing both his performance and in-hand inspections.
"Cody's Dream Weaver" is by "Ridge Runnin' Cody" and out of "Zema" a beautiful grey Mustang
mare that was my level one Parelli horse.
"Weaver" has a very quiet, sweet, calm personality, and is a real gentleman with the mares.
He has only sired 5 foals but 4 are grey and 1 black. They have all been easy to start and have his
laid back personality.

Apache - going for the gold! |

|
"M.R.'s Apache Moon" is a 2000 foal he was born of 2 BLM horses in a BLM holding facility. He is freezebranded
as a wild horse. He is very sweet and is scheduled to start his under-saddle training spring of 2006. He has a very calm and
sweet disposition, with an nothings-a big-deal attitude. He is pretty flashy moving in the pasture. He currently has sired 3
foals. A sorrel filly named "Baraka" that passed her American Warmblood Society inspection as a
Red Perferred, a pinto colt named "De JA Vu", and a Strawberry Roan stud colt with 3 small socks. See their pictures soon
on the foal pages.
NEWS Flash: "Apache" was inspected, through
the American Warmblood Society and awarded a Red Perferred ribbon and was branded with the AWS brand.
"Gudrunn's Jarle" is a 1994 Norwegian Fjord
horse stallion, He is the newest member of our farm. It is an unexpected surprise th have a new stallion with the kind of
disposition we look for in all our stallions. We've been told that is typical of the Fjord horses. That is why they are
noted as being great for kids and older adults who want a calm riding or driving horse. They possess lots of bone and are
strong enough to carry a full size adult.
"Jarle" is 13.3 hands, and is sweet enough to leave with mares
and foals all the time. We are looking into AI but as of now we offer only live cover.
I am hoping to start his additional training soon.
